- With the first pregnancy you should go to the hospital when the labor contractions have been regular every five minutes for one hour. This should be while you are lying down – not walking. With the second and succeding pregnancies, contractions should be regular and every eight to ten minutes while resting.
- If your bag of water breaks (a constant leak of fluid), you should go to the hospital’s Labor Room and the nurse on duty with notify us.
- Slight blood show may or may not be present, and by itself, is not significant. If bleeding requires wearing a pad, then go to the Labor Room without delay. I will notified by the nurse.
- If any of the above occurs, take liquids only.
